A short limerick I wrote just before the 2007 Howard-Rudd election result was announced. No political motive/comment intended, I just stumbled upon the resemblance to certain animals. By Sergio Z. Manwualez.

Rudd Says:

 

'Meow meow

Cat cat

This fancy Feline

Is so fat

 

Twice as wide

And half as tall

He comes up first

In all the polls'

 

Howard Says:

 

‘Forget the cats

They are not native

To say otherwise

Is not superlative

 

So fetch my gun

I’m the PM Wombat

I’ll waste those cats

In mortal combat’
