Uneven bridges and silent streams
Of communication
Through wires speak

Sender and Receiver types
Ash face-to-face thrills
In awe of climbing over - what they call
Socially inactive hills

Blank faced lies
Data stream
Like dominating locust flies
And fill jail cells
With IT captives
For committing under age crimes

And the race for speed
Overlaps
With luminous 3D and Pentium saps
With LCD screens for e-books to read
And keyboards for websites to breathe

And human interaction
Underloads
With uploads and downloads
Information – All sorts

Chat room pubs open
And never close
With plateful bartenders
Like Tom from Myspace

And ageing in chairs
Leads the future
Of Generation Y
Into a tech-savvy lurcher

The easiness of it all
Mouses around
Into every gapless hole
With diamond shining changes
That reach even –
The Freudian mental ranges

But progress, like seeding
Is somehow –
... as inevitable as breathing
