Paint the picture of perfection

Made fantasy it's protection

Locked myself away for you

Thinking we would make it through

Now all I feel is so unsure

Nothing left when you ask for more

Rare visitors, letters, stamps and calls

Locked myself away within your walls

The brush has fallen the paint has dried

You can't change how I feel inside

The letters stop that dream is dead

I can't do as I first said
