Traditional observational stand-up comedy is, for the most part, dead. Which accounts for the eclectic nature of Andrew Gannon for a Night: I'm Lying to Your Mother. Laced with songs, sketches and an assortment of other delectable comedic delights, the show is fast-paced and suitable for consumption by people who find most comedy these days just a bit too bland (incidentally, the show is also viewable by people who don't find modern observational stand-up comedy too bland). While Andrew is as yet an unknown performer he hopes to change this; accordingly, the show is free of charge. This is firstly because of his fledgling status; secondly he wishes to entertain as many people as possible; and thirdly so that any criticisms can be met with `Well, you get what you paid for'. The show will run for approximately 1 hour and will be held at the Glitch Bar & Cinema from the 19th to the 30th of March excluding Mondays.
