A singer and guitarist, R Bruce has toured across the United States to sold out shows in the United Kingdom. Vibewire.net decided to find out more:

1. My comfort food is... turkey meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I also love fish and chips and you can't get proper fish and chips in the U.S., so I am going to gain some weight in Melbourne.

2. Pop culture is... boring... very, very boring.

3. I will dedicate my life to the invention of... universal happiness and peace on Earth... or self-flossing teeth.

4. My friends would be shocked if they knew... the true meaning of life (and I am sure, so would I).

5. In 20 years, I will be... older.

6. What's your favourite blue food? Blueberries... especially in pie or cobbler... with vanilla ice-cream!

7. Batman or Superman? It depends... I think Batman would be more fun to hang out with, but Superman would be better if you needed help doing something... like moving furniture, or buildings, or travelling to another planet.

8. What famous person, living or dead, would you like to interview? I am not a religious person (spiritual, but not religious), but I would like to have ea chat with Jesus Christ. I think some of his modern day followers got a bit confused about his teachings.

9. What makes you smile? Old, friendly dogs.

R Bruce is performing Late Bloomer Tour at the Wesley Anne, a stand-up show that intersperses original songs such as "Dysfunctional Family Reunion", "A.D.D. Cowboy" and "I've Had It With Linear Time".
