A pivotal day for Australian history watched by young and old as Kevin Rudd and others made their speeches of apology...is this the real deal and is this truly a new beginning?

Today is a historical day for Australia where Kevin Rudd on behalf of the Government, apologised to the Stolen Generation of Indigenous Australians. This, I think and hope has acted as a catalyst for positive change in which Aboriginal Australians have much longed for.

However, it was disappointing to see that John Howard absent in this momentous event, in which I think reinforced that Australia, made the right choice in the 07’ elections.  But regardless, it is great to see that both parties are uniting hand in hand to work together in making change occur. I look forward to these in the near future.

What did you guys think/feel of todays event?
