State Wide Camp for 13-17 year old Young Carers

The role of a camp leader, as stated by the young carers teams, is:

- Ensuring that all campers in your group attend to their daily living activities (eg meals, hygiene, sleep, hydration

  sun protection, medication etc).

- Liaising with Village Leaders and Camp Coordinator with regard to daily activities or any concerns as required.

- Knowing the camp schedule and assist with the briefing and debriefing of campers in relation to all major activities.

- Participating in Leader Meetings as required.

- Participating in all activities, unless rostered off.

- Facilitating in pre camp and post camp evaluation on first and last days of camp.

- Being involved with campers and having fun!

The camp will take place from April 19-23 2008 at Port Hacking, Royal National Park, Sydney.
