•  The City of Sydney is holding a series of short courses for budding D.I.Y-ers. These include 'Design Your Own Comics and Zines' - a four session course held for 15-26 year olds from the 29th April to 20th May and 'A Cut Above Street Art' - a seven week session for 15-26 year olds between 28th April to 16th June. • The iconic Melbourne bookstore Readings is celebrating its 40th birthday by publishing an anthology in 2009. Submit your previously unpublished short story (2500-5000 words in length, open theme) for the chance to have your work featured next to prominent and emerging Australian Writers.
